Steve & Jill McCarthy
Uruguay, Latin America Caribbean
Steve and Jill McCarthy serve as missionaries in Uruguay. They minister in one of the most economically and politically stable countries in all of Latin America, yet one of the hardest to reach with the gospel. Steve and Jill are involved in teaching and preparing new pastors at the Bible School and in sports evangelism, using soccer as a bridge to reach the lost. In addition, they lead Hope for Uruguay 100, an initiative that is raising up and mentoring new church planters with the hope of establishing 100 healthy churches and building 100 sanctuaries for these new and growing congregations. Please pray for them as they serve in a place historically referred to as the "Graveyard of Latin American Missions".
