Michael & Polly Brown
Bolivia, Latin America Caribbean
Mike & Polly serve as missionaries to Bolivia, with a vision to see entire families made whole through the gospel of Jesus Christ! What does that look like in real terms?
For the at-risk children, youth, and their families in impoverished communities, it looks like ministry through ChildHope. Through this ministry, Mike & Polly have opportunities to help see kids receive education, food, and other necessities. Most importantly, however, the ministry gives opportunities to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ, which alone brings true transformation. Through ChildHope, they are also launching Chicas de Promesa and Chicos Campeones para el Cambio. These two discipleship/empowerment ministries serve at-risk girls and boys, respectively, by having real conversations and providing a safe space.
For the Deaf in Bolivia, it looks like ministry to the Deaf by presenting the Gospel of Jesus Christ in the heart language of so many who have yet to hear the Good News, not because they cannot hear but because so few have taken the time to present the Good News to them in their heart language of Bolivian Sign Language.
Other ministries include evangelism, compassion ministry, and preaching & teaching.
Mike is ordained and Polly is licensed as Assemblies of God ministers. Prior to serving as Missionaries to Bolivia, Mike & Polly served as Missionary Associates to Costa Rica, and before that, youth and children's pastors in Massachusetts. Mike & Polly have three children: Genevieve, Jonah, and Olive.
