TOGETHER originated in 2005 as a small group of pastors that committed to meet and pray regularly for the sake of the Church and the gospel of Jesus. As this united prayer continued, it led to collaborated efforts of service to communities around Rhode Island. As the group continued to grow, and new initiatives were identified, a need to formally organize was recognized.

​TOGETHER has grown to become a network of Bible based, Christ centered churches in the Rhode Island region that is devoted to actively loving our communities and the individuals in them and to sharing the message of Jesus Christ.

​We commit to pray and work together so that southeastern New England churches, individually, congregationally, and cooperatively, might practice a lifestyle of praying, caring, and sharing the good news of Jesus Christ.

We believe that Divine Unity is the greatest and most effective witness of the Church as the Body of Christ, as found in Jesus' prayer in John 17:21-23:

​"that all of them may be one, Father, just as you are in me and I am in you. May they also be in us so that the world may believe that you have sent me. 22 I have given them the glory that you gave me, that they may be one as we are one— 23 I in them and you in me—so that they may be brought to complete unity. Then the world will know that you sent me and have loved them even as you have loved me."

​With this unity as the overarching focus, TOGETHER seeks to be a servant to the local Church, in fostering united and meaningful prayer gatherings, collaborative service efforts in shared local communities, and an orientation to gospel sharing in our common context.
