SUNDAYS
The Reign of King David and Solomon - In 2 Samuel we'll study the reign of David, the move of the capital to Jerusalem, the rebellion of his sons and their deaths. We'll be studying the kingdom of Solomon, the building of the temple, Solomon's unfaithfulness and God's faithfulness using 1 Kings 1-11. All are welcome. This class begins Sept. 8 and is held in the Office Building library form 9:00 - 10:25 a.m. and is taught by Charlene Connors.

Unidad 1: Job, una vida de íntegra — Esta unidad estudia la fascinante y difícil historia de Job, un hombre justo que disfrutaba de gran riqueza e influencia. Sin embargo, a pesar de ser justo y fiel a Dios, pasó por algunos sufrimientos. Job supo que sus circunstancias no eran consecuencia de ningún pecado. Por eso confiaba que Dios lo reivindicaría.
Unidad 2: El Hijo de Dios en el evangelio de Juan — Esta unidad se enfoca en el Hijo de Dios según el evangelio de Juan. Por esta razón, notará que, aunque no veremos los sucesos de la Pasión de Cristo (capítulos 20 al 22), sí analizaremos la importancia espiritual de su muerte, resurrección y ascensión.
ASL Class will be 6:00 - 7:00 p.m. ASL Sing Class will be 7:00 - 7:30 p.m. Classes are held in the Library of the Office Building and are taught by Nancy Baillargeon.
Royal Rangers - 6:00 p.m.—7:30 p.m. DVJ Family Life Center. This international ministry for boys, ages 5-18, seeks to teach them to be men of God through mentoring and discipleship. Weekly meetings promote biblical teaching with a strong emphasis on life application, learning about God’s creation, and how to interact within it….and lots of games, crafts, and “active” activities.
Girls Ministries - 6:00 p.m.—7:30 p.m. DVJ Family Life Center. Girls Ministries is designed to reach girls ages 3-18 for Christ, teach them to be godly young ladies, and encourage them to get involved in ministry. Based on Titus 2, women meet weekly with the girls to study scripture, work on crafts, and enjoy games and a variety of other fun activities.

Spiritual Formation for Men - 6:30 p.m.—8:30 p.m. Sanctuary Building—Fellowship Hall.
Young Adults Life Group - We exist to help young adults and young families (ages 18-35) to grow in Christian community through discipleship, fellowship and service. Through fun outings, small groups and service projects we seek to extend God's love and grace to all. We look forward to getting to know you! This group meets from 6:30 - 8:30 p.m. in the Chapel/Café in the Office Building.

Discerning the Voice of God - Ladies, join us for this Priscilla Shirer DVD Bible study beginning Wednesday, January 15, 9:00 a.m.—11:30 a.m. in Fellowship Hall and facilitated by Candace Andrews. (more)
Junior Bible Quiz (JBQ) - JBQ is a great way for boys and girls, grades 1 to 6, to learn about God and the Bible. A set series of questions are studied and learned. Then, our quiz team competes with other teams in our area. Cost is $10. For information contact Lisa Young at . Begins Sept. 4 and is held in room 203 of the DVJ Center.
Children's Choir - Children's Choir is a fun place for children to learn about worshiping God through singing. Ages 5 - 11. Contact Denise at . Begins September 11 and is held in room 212 of the DVJ Center.
Thrive - Growing in Grace -January 8 thru April 22 at 7:00 pm.
A powerful, user-friendly study being offered, in the Sanctuary as well as online, to help new and old believers alike grow in conversation and cooperation with Jesus in everyday living. The discussion group will be live streamed each week on the church Facebook (CIC on Facebook) page for ease of attendance for those unable to come to the campus. Remedy Youth Bible Study - Students ages 13 - 18 are welcome to journey together as they learn about biblical passages/themes and discuss how they apply to daily life. This study is held in the Chapel/Café of the Office Bldg. from 7:00 p.m.—8:30 p.m.

Online Bible Study
Unit 1 (Sept. - Nov.): Job a Life of Integrity - This unit explores the fascinationg and difficult story of Job, a righteous man who experienced suffering in ways most can scarcely imagine. Through it all, Job knew his circumstances did not come as a result of sin. And so, he trusted that God would vindicate him in the end.
Unit 2 (Dec. - : The Son of God in the Gospel of John - The Gospel of John emphasizes the uniquesness of Jesus as the eternal Son of God. In a skeptical and unbelieving world, this unit can help bring Biblical answers to questions like, "Why is Jesus different from opther religious leaders?" and "Why do Christians think Jesus is the only way?" The Gospel of John is a rich source of help and understanding as we become equipped to celebrate and defend our faith.
This class, which is taught by Pastor Tony Tamba begins on September 7 and runs from 8:00 - 9:30 a.m.
